Week Z

All right! I've got some good ones here!

The last two weeks I went on business trips (Mon-Thurs each week) to visit a few of our phone centers, which was pretty cool. I went with my boss, and we were in Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota. We also drove through Iowa and Oklahoma, and we made connecting flights in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Dallas, and Denver. That was cool because I’ve never been to Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, South Dakota, Iowa, or Nebraska. So that’s eight new states (if you count the three where I was only in airports)! But most people don't, so I can say that I've actually shattered my goal of going to one state I've never been to before. I've been to five! In fact, while everyone in my cast of Music Man was pretending to be in Iowa, I actually was. :)

I also voted in the election (I had to vote absentee, because of the aforementioned trip), and I bought a piano!!! Woo hoo! It's an electric one, but it has a full keyboard with weighted keys and a good sound, so that's good, right? :) I also gave a fabulous tip to a waitress when I went out to eat last week (I won't tell how much though). She deserved it.
